The Vision of River Valley Christian Fellowship is reaching people apart from God and helping connect them to Jesus.
GOALS
River Valley has a clear set of goals for us to actively seek our Vision! These goals are God sized goals and we know that they cannot be done with out God working through us!
- We will baptize 2,000 people. We count people because people count to God. Baptism is a public declaration of a personal decision to fully surrender your life to Jesus. We are committed to reaching people, connecting them to Jesus, and helping get them baptized and discipled after they go ALL IN with Jesus.
- We will help plant 2 churches every year. Church planting is the most effective way to reach lost people for Christ. River Valley is a church plant that uses the knowledge, money, and partnerships God has given us to grow God’s kingdom in areas outside of Bastrop county. As of today, we have planted churches in Austin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Toronto, Washington D.C., Denver, San Antonio, Boston, Schertz, Rockport, and Atlanta!
- We will establish a connection and investment to reach one unreached people group. Currently, there are 3,600 unreached people groups in the world representing 1.2 billion people. That means NO ONE among these people has ever even heard the name of Jesus! We will work to identify one of these groups with which to establish a long-term commitment of training a pastor and planting an indigenous church among them.
- We will be intentionally multi-ethnic.
- We will be a praying church.
