FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT IS A GROUP?
Groups are how we engage in relationships with each other at River Valley. Although every group has its own style and flow, each group spends time developing meaningful relationships, reading the Bible, and discussing how it relates to our lives, praying together, and encouraging one another.
HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?
Groups meet weekly, every other week, or monthly.
WHEN & WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?
Every night of the week there is a Group meeting in Bastrop and the surrounding areas. The majority of groups meet in a consistent location (e.g. the home of a group member or at the church), though some prefer to take turns meeting in different members’ homes. Outside of specific meeting times, groups often gather with our partner ministries to serve in local outreach.
