River Valley Christian Fellowship has partnered with Compassion International to plant Iglesias Bautista Dios de Misericordia in Barrio Nuevo, Poneloya, Leon, Nicaragua. The people in this community are extremely poor, with nearly half the adult population unemployed with an average household income of $97 per month. Please pray for Justo Ramon Sevella Duarte as he and his congregation work to realize their dream of having a new church home.
We are celebrating new beginnings in the Barrio Nuevo neighborhood of León in western Nicaragua. Because of your support the Iglesias Bautista Dios de Misericordia church plant is moving forward with construction plans. Now completed, their facilities include:
- 1 main sanctuary
- 3 classrooms
- 2 restrooms (one male, one female)
- 1 kitchen
