What is the red letter challenge?
The Red Letter Challenge is a church-wide 40 day challenge where we'll read Jesus' words (the red letters of the Bible) and see how He leads us to connect with Him.
WHen are we doing the challenge at river valley?
The Red Letter Challenge will be from September 8th through October 20th.
WHo is involved?
Our entire church will be involved, from elementary and students to groups and Sunday sermons. Grow alongside your family as you dive into God's Word together!
WHAT do I need to do?
1. Make a commitment. Attend every Sunday, every time your group meets, and aim to read the devotional every day. This challenge will grow you closer to Jesus, but it requires consistency.
2. Purchase a Red Letter Devotional. Red Letter devotionals will be available at Connections Corner starting August 25th. We want each person to have their own devotional. The recommended donation amount is $10.
3. Join a Group. All of our community groups will discuss the Red Letter Challenge during their weekly meetings. This is a great time to focus on the Red Letter Challenge in the midst of godly community.
